Transitioning Your Fall Mantle
Quick and Easy Mantle Transition
Just in time for Thanksgiving... Even
though that is a lie; because I'm decorating for Christmas as we
speak. But for those of you that enjoy savoring thanksgiving, here's
an example of how to transition your mantle from Halloween to
Plymouth Rock. I removed all the spooky décor and replaced it with
some sparkly leaves and fake corn on the cob from the dollar store.
I added bundles of cut lavender tied with ribbon, from my flower
beds. Plaques about thankfulness replace “boo” and “spooky.”
The Pilgrims are a blast from the past, once belonging to Patti Rash.
As a teenager I may or may not have broken the Pilgrim woman's head
off while using her as the bow in a mock fiddling routine. They were
given to me as a peace offering from her own Thanksgiving décor.
Thankfully I was able to reattach Euffajaniah's head with some super
glue.
What Should Be On My Thanksgiving Table?
I have a collection on white dishes. The are all ornate and vintage in a rage of cream and ivories. I love them because the do not match but go oh-so-well together. AND if one breaks I don't have to stress about finding a matching replacement, almost anything will work! So now on the the fun part. I need your help in deciding how to decorate my table this Thanksgiving. I have include some inspiration boards, just comment below and tell me which one you like best. Thanks for helping me in this VERY important decision! (My dishes are similar to the image on the top.)

Repurposed, Restyled and Reused!
So I refinished this furniture piece but it didn't feel finished. So a
week later, I decided it needed a glaze. Kind of like a cinnamon roll
that needs frosting. So I glazed it. Frosted if you will. Delicious!
